I completed my training as a hotel specialist in Germany. Even then I was fascinated by the hotel industry – particularly the interplay between the different departments and the opportunity to create unforgettable experiences for guests. Immediately after my apprenticeship I moved to Switzerland, where the impressive mountain scenery and the closeness to nature instantly captivated me.
During my five years at Swiss Holiday Park I was able to gain valuable experience and continually develop. From service my path led me via the position of Chef de Bar to Chef de Service. These varied roles have shaped me both professionally and personally and have further strengthened my passion for hospitality.
Today I am part of the team at Hotel Piz Buin. Here I particularly appreciate the opportunity to bring in my creativity, try out new ideas and continually deepen my enthusiasm for wine. The changing seasons, the warmth of the people and the unique atmosphere of Klosters make this place very special to me.
I love being out in the mountains – whether hiking, mountain biking or skiing in winter. I especially enjoy the many idyllic barbecue spots in the region. Food-wise I am repeatedly drawn to Restaurant Sonne, where Anja welcomes her guests with great enthusiasm.
The best thing about my job is giving people a great time – with warmth, creativity and genuine hospitality.
