Emergency exits and escape routes
From every floor you can reach the outside via marked routes. Please never use the lift in the event of a fire alarm. Escape instructions can be found on the inside of your room entrance door.
First aid
Our reception will immediately arrange for a doctor if required. First-aid equipment is also available at reception. Further emergency numbers can be found in the telephone directory next to your phone.
Check Out
Departure
On departure we ask you to vacate the room by 11.30 am at the latest. Please remember to return your key cards to reception. It is of course possible to settle your room bill the evening before — until 11.00 pm in winter and 10.30 pm in summer. You also have the option of checking out conveniently online; you will receive an email shortly.
Transfer
If you would like transport to the station on your departure, please notify reception in good time. Our porter will drive you to Klosters Platz station with our hotel bus.
During your stay
Key card
The hotel entrance doors lock at 11.00 pm. Please take your key card with you when leaving the hotel; it gives you access at any time (reader to the right of the entrance door). This card also gives you access to the ski room, bike room, indoor pool, sauna area and fitness.
Bathrobe & pool shoes
Bathrobes are available in your wardrobe. Pool shoes can be obtained at reception for CHF 6 per pair (sizes L, M and S). You may of course take these home.
Slippers
As part of our ongoing efforts to be more environmentally friendly, we have decided not to provide slippers in the rooms as standard. If you would still like the comfort of slippers, these are now available at reception for CHF 6.
Pillow selection
You have the option of using alternative pillows. Please contact reception. The following pillows are available: millet pillow, sheep's wool pillow or neck support pillow.
Extra duvets & pillows
On request we will gladly provide additional duvets and/or pillows. Please contact reception.
Smoking
We ask all smokers to respect the no-smoking rule in the rooms and to smoke on the balcony. You will find an ashtray there. When GRIZZLY’S Bar is open, you may use the smokers' lounge there.
Dogs
Well-behaved dogs are welcome for a supplement of CHF 25 per day (without food). Please note that dogs are not allowed in the breakfast room.
Quiet hours
We want to ensure all guests a restful night's sleep. We ask you, after an enjoyable evening, to be considerate of guests who are already sleeping.
Facilities
Internet
Wi‑Fi is available throughout the hotel free of charge. You can log in easily with your mobile device. Select the "HotelPizBuinFree" network. No password is required.
Television
All rooms are equipped with a cable TV. You can also receive radio programmes via the TV.
Telephone
In the hotel rooms (not in the chalet) a direct-dial telephone is available. From the room you can call external numbers directly: lift the receiver – to obtain a dial tone, please dial 0 and then the required area code followed by the phone number.
Only in the case of a connection will a one-time connection fee of CHF 1 be charged and from that point a charge of CHF 0.10 per twenty seconds.
Internal calls are free of charge. To call from room to room, first dial the digit "2" and then the desired room number.
To be reachable from outside on your phone, you need the direct extension for your room. You will find this under your telephone receiver.
If you wish, you can also give callers our hotel phone number and the reception team will forward calls to you.
Radio
You will receive many different radio programmes on your television.
Coffee machine
A daily allocation of coffee capsules for the coffee machine is provided free of charge.
Minibar
Your minibar is restocked daily and is free of charge.
Kitchens
Some of the rooms have a kitchenette. This is available for your use during your stay. Cleaning of your kitchenette is included in the room rate only for the day of departure. During your stay you may clean it yourself or have it cleaned by our housekeeping team. Daily kitchen cleaning costs CHF 25 per day. If you would like daily kitchen cleaning, please inform reception.
Safe & Liability
Your room is equipped with an electronic safe in the wardrobe. Please refer to the instructions on the safe. Please store your valuables, documents and cash in the safe. The contents of the safe are insured up to a sum of CHF 1’000. No liability can be accepted for valuables that are not deposited in the room safe.
Hotel
Laundry
A laundry list and a laundry bag are provided in your wardrobe. Please notify reception (2533). Laundry service 8.00 am to 5.00 pm. If you hand in your laundry before 9.00 am you will receive it back the same day (except at weekends).
Room cleaning
Your room is cleaned daily. If you do not wish to be disturbed, please hang the "Do not disturb" sign on the door. If you would like the room cleaned at a different time, please inform reception.
Ski room
The ski room is located next to the garage. We ask that you store your skis and boots in our ski room. The ski room remains locked all day, but you can access it at any time with your room key card. From the outside the ski room is accessed via the ramp to the underground garage.
Bike room
The bike room is located next to the garage. We ask that you store your bikes in our bike room. It remains locked throughout the day, but you can open it at any time with your room key card. From the outside the bike room is accessed via the ramp to the underground garage.
Shoe polishing machine
On the first basement level, in the corridor to the massage area on the left, you will find a shoe-polishing machine which is available 24 hours a day.
Underground car park
You are welcome to use our underground car park for CHF 20 per day in the winter season and CHF 10 per day in the summer. Please leave your car key at reception, as this is a lift-parking system. We park the car for you! If you need your car for an outing, please let us know in good time and we will retrieve it for you. We cannot guarantee parking spaces prior to arrival.
Public car park
You also have the option to use the public car park with a special parking permit for stays of two nights or more. The permit is available at the reception desk. The car park is located 150 m from the hotel. For stays of one night only, please purchase your parking ticket directly from the parking meter. Please note that the car park is unattended and neither the hotel nor the municipality accepts liability for any damage or loss.

Laundry
In Chalet Piz Buin a washing machine and a tumble dryer are available to guests on the ground floor.
Room cleaning
We are happy to clean your room daily on request for CHF 50 per day. Please contact reception to arrange this.
The final cleaning fee of CHF 50 will be charged to your bill automatically as a one-off charge.
Waste & Glass recycling
A rubbish bag with charges is provided in the kitchen on arrival. If you wish to dispose of it, the collection point is by the bridge at the level of Hotel Silvretta. Additional rubbish bags can be purchased at reception for CHF 1.80 each. The glass recycling point is also by the bridge.

Provided once on arrival.
Coffee machine
A complimentary "welcome" supply of coffee capsules for the Nespresso machine is provided. Should you require additional capsules, these can be purchased at reception for CHF 0.50 per capsule.

Attached you will find a selection of dishes available from our BÄR’S Bistro in Hotel Piz Buin. Please note that we do not offer a delivery service. To place an order, dial 2509.

Extras
Adapters
There are 230 volt sockets in your room. You may borrow an adapter from reception against a deposit of CHF 20, which we will charge to your room bill. Please remember to return the adapter to reception.
Hygiene items
Forgot your toothbrush or razor? No problem — reception can provide a toothbrush with toothpaste or a razor set.
Ironing service
Daily from 8.00 am to 5.00 pm we can press shirts, blouses or trousers for you (without laundering). You will receive your garments back within one hour. Prices are shown on the item list in the wardrobe.
Change of bed linen
We can change your bed linen daily for an additional charge of CHF 25 per day.
Room Service
Please refer to the separate Room Service menu for the full offering (not available in the chalet). We accept orders daily between 8.00 am and 10.00 pm in winter and until 9.00pm in summer. A service charge of CHF 18 applies to each order.

Luggage service
If you need assistance with luggage, please notify reception in good time. Our staff will be happy to assist you.
Wake-up calls
If you would like a wake-up call, please inform our reception team. Reception is staffed 24 hours a day. We can call you at any time.
Currency exchange
We are happy to exchange your euros into Swiss francs at the current daily rate, less a 3% commission. Notes only, no coins.
Photocopies
The copier at reception is also available for your use. We charge CHF 0.50 per page for black & white copies, and CHF 1 per page for colour copies.
Post
If you would like to send mail, we will gladly accept it at reception. Should mail arrive for you, we will inform you immediately or deliver it to your room.
Messages
If messages are received for you, our reception will inform you immediately.

The current weather can be found on our information board next to reception.
Lost & found
If you have found something or are missing something, please contact reception.
Sewing service
Daily between 8.00 am and 5.00 pm our sewing service is available for small repairs such as a button or small hole. If you prefer to do it yourself, you will find a small sewing kit in the bathroom (in the Cubotto).
Babysitters
We do not have in-house babysitters, but we are happy to assist with arranging a babysitter. Please contact us in good time.
Offers & activities
Fitness
Our fitness area is open daily from 7.00 am to 10.00 pm in winter and from 7.00 am to 9.00 pm in summer. Cardio and strength-training equipment by Technogym are available. We welcome all guests aged 16 and over in the fitness area. For safety and health reasons, younger guests may only use the fitness area when accompanied by their parents or a guardian. Please wear clean sports shoes and not street shoes when using the fitness area. Towels and a water dispenser are provided. Access to the fitness room is only with your room key card.
Indoor pool & whirlpool
Our indoor pool is available daily from 7.00 am to 9.00 pm in winter and from 7.00 am to 8.00 pm during the summer season. Children up to and including 14 years are allowed until 6.00 pm. A whirlpool is also available. Please note that children under 12 years of age are only permitted when accompanied by their parents. You need your room key card to access the pool. Bath towels are provided at the pool. Access is via the changing rooms.
Sauna
A visit to our Finnish sauna, bio sauna or steam room is both invigorating and relaxing and a pleasant complement to an active day. Our sauna area is accessible daily from 15.00 to 21.00 in winter and from 15.00 to 20.00 in summer. Entry is permitted from 16 years. Please note that this is a nude area. You will need your room key card for entry.
Massage
We are happy to organise massage treatments on request and subject to availability at our house. Bookings can be made through reception. Dial 2533.
Beauty treatments
We are happy to organise beauty treatments off-site on request. Further information is available at reception.
Newspapers
A selection of daily newspapers is available at reception or in BÄR’S Bistro.
Cigarettes
A small selection of cigarettes is available at reception.

Information on leisure activities can be found on our information board. Our reception team will also be happy to advise you.
Ski pass
You can order your ski pass at reception. Please order ski passes in good time so that we have time to issue them. You may also borrow a ski pass from reception against a deposit of CHF 20, which we will charge to your room bill. Please remember to return the pass to reception. Alternatively, you can load a ski pass online with the mountain railway company.
Events
All current information on exciting events or festivities in Klosters and the surrounding area can be found on our information board next to reception. Our reception team will also be happy to advise you.
Davos Klosters Premium Card
The guest card entitles you to free travel on the local bus in Klosters and on the Rhaetian Railway between Klosters and Davos. You also benefit from further discounted services and leisure offers in our holiday region.

We serve our extensive breakfast buffet from 7.00 am to 10.30 am in the restaurant. Please note that dogs are not permitted in the breakfast room.
Breakfast in your room
We are happy to serve your breakfast in your room between 08:00 and 10:30 (not available in the chalet). You can find our breakfast selection on the separate Room Service menu. A surcharge of CHF 18 is charged per order. To place an order, please dial 2509.
Early risers & packed lunches
Setting off early or out for the day? Our reception team will be pleased to arrange food to take with you. Orders can be placed by 21:00 on the previous evening.
