Fancy infectious rhythms, groovy beats and an evening full of musical energy? On Saturday, 9 January 2027, the Funky Dudes will bring their programme «Funk ain’t over» to life at Kulturhuus Klosters. Look forward to a musical journey through the history of funk full of soul, rhythm and unmistakable sound.
The band combines original compositions with well-known funk classics from the USA, Great Britain and Switzerland. Sometimes rocky and poppy, sometimes soulful and jazzy, the varied mix promises a concert experience with plenty of drive and joy of playing. A powerful interplay of bass and drums, funky guitar and keyboard sounds, a soulful voice and an exciting brass section with trumpet, trombone and tenor saxophone create the characteristic groove. Between songs, you will also hear fascinating background stories and entertaining anecdotes from the world of funk.
